Police are investigating as a hate crime the vandalization of the house of Dr. Michael Drake, president of the College of California system, with racist graffiti, NBC Information reported. Drake is Black.
Vandals additionally painted racist symbols and profanity on the house.
A spokesman for the college mentioned, “The College of California condemns all hate crimes dedicated in opposition to members of our campus communities. We’ll proceed doing all the things doable to create a secure and welcoming college neighborhood for all.”
